Josh grew up in Novato, graduated at San Marin High School and college from Pacific University Oregon with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing. In High School Josh was coached by MPT Director Jenno Morson, Josh is considered one of the best tennis players in Marin County High School history, being awarded three-time first-team all-conference and one-time MCAL player of the year. Josh has a career record of 41-15 in singles and 43-13 in doubles while attending Pacific and playing at the top of their lineup. After college, Josh was hired to be an Assistant Tennis Professional at Marin Country Club before moving on to become the Head Professional at Oakland Hills Tennis Club for 2 and a half years. During his time at Oakland Hills, Josh built and ran programs, taught private lessons, and was recognized by USPTA for his outstanding work with lower-income families and was awarded the 2019 USPTA Norcal Diversity Award. Josh is USPTA certified, a local 5.0+ player, and an avid 5.0 pickleball player. Josh is looking forward to being back with his former coach and friend to help establish competitive juniors in Marin County.
